We are excited to have you and your family as part of our Kindergarten Family! Kindergarten is an exciting time for your child! We will make this school year an enjoyable time for your child, but also a time filled with learning. The skills taught in Kindergarten are the building blocks for your child's future success in school and in life. We strive to make your child's kindergarten year one of excitement, growth, and opportunity, both academically and socially. We care for each child's individual and social needs thoughout the year and show them that school is a safe place to learn and explore.

Kelsey Burch		Hello! I was born in Los Angeles, California but grew up in Cape Coral. I’ve been in Cape Coral for about 17 years now and I love it here! I moved away for college, but I am so happy to be back and be teaching at Oasis. I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Elementary Education and an ESOL Endorsement. I have had a blast teaching kindergarten and working with the awesome kindergarten team. I look forward to many more years teaching at Oasis.

Michelle Carlson		I was born here in Ft. Myers, FL. I attended Edison Community College and University of South Florida. I later received my Bachelor of Science degree from Florida Gulf Coast University in the fall of 1999. I am married to my wonderful husband Adam and we have two darling children: an eight-year old son, Austin, who will attend 3rd grade here at Oasis Charter and a two-year old baby girl, Averie!!! This will be my ninth year teaching. I spent my first year teaching in a fourth grade classroom. I then realized my heart was in Kindergarten; and has been there since!!! I am very proud to be a part of the talented teaching team here at Oasis Charter Elementary School.

Courtney DePasquale		I am Mrs. DePasquale, formerly know as Ms. Galler. I got married May of 2006 and moved to Cape Coral with my husband. My husband and I have a black pug puppy named Olive Oil that we completely adore! This is my sixth year teaching kindergarten, and I LOVE IT! I helped open the school in 2005 and this is my fifth year at Oasis Elementary School. I have my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice. I also hold my Child Development Associates Degree, and continued coursework after graduation to receive my teaching certificate. I went to college and graduated from the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Prior to teaching kindergarten I taught preschool, and was an eligibility counselor. Along with teaching kindergarten I also do private tutoring and teach ballet. I love working with my kindergarten team here at Oasis Elementary School. Kindergarten is always a blast at Oasis Elementary!

Tiffany Brown		Hello!! I was born and raised in Lapeer, Michigan which is about one hour north of Detroit. I graduated from Hope College in Holland, Michigan in 2004 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I then moved to Florida in 2004 to begin my teaching career. My first year teaching was in Kindergarten at Caloosa Elementary here in the Cape. I have now been at Oasis for five years and each one has been in Kindergarten. My pride and joy are my two Shih-Tzu dogs: Webster and Theo. This is a very exciting year for me since it will be my last as Ms. Drendall; I will be getting married May 1^st to Mr. Brown!!

Alicia Wallace		Hi everyone! I am so grateful to be a part of the kindergarten team at Oasis Elementary! I graduated from Edison College with my Associates degree in 2006 and graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I was born and raised right here in Cape Coral, love visiting Disney with my awesome husband, Chris, and prior to teaching kindergarten, I was a teacher/assistant at a preschool for several years. It’s going to be a great year together!!!

April Wolfe		I moved to Florida in 2004 from Ohio. I received my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Bowling Green State University in Ohio and I earned my Master's in Reading from Nova Southeastern University. I am proud to say I earned my National Board of Professional Teaching Standards certification in 2008. I have been teaching for 8 years and I have found that my heart is in Kindergarten! I am married to my husband Chad and we have a beautiful baby boy named Liam. Liam will be two years old in September. We also have a black lab named Charlie.
